DIY Bamboo Handle Bag

Hi everyone! So today’s post is short and sweet. This was meant to be a tutorial on how to make the DIY bamboo handle bag in the picture ( yes, yes I know it’s palm print you can see more here). I took photos showing how you make the bag, and they weren’t great. So, I’m going to work on it this week and hopefully have the tutorial ready for next week.

One of the things you need to know about me is that I am a big fan of DIY. I’m talking HUGE fan. If I see something I like and I can figure out a way to make it, I am a very happy person. Home decor, clothing, jewelry you name it. There is really nothing more satisfying to me than making something myself.  That is how I starting my handbag line Roxbury Place. My latest collection I had made, but I used to sew everything myself. I absolutely loved making and designing handbags, but unfortunately it became very time consuming so I had to stop. However, I do still enjoying making them for myself. This little DIY bamboo handle bag the cutest thing. You can make it bigger or smaller, and swap out the handles for something else. I just ordered a pair of these for the next bag I plan to make.

It’s a great little bag about 9″x 11″ and holds all the essentials. Stop by next week and check out the tutorial. Fingers crossed it works out!

For all you non sewers out there I didn’t forget about you. To be honest I had trouble finding some similar options that didn’t cost a fortune, but this one is very cute, I like this one also. Etsy is a great place to find a bag similar to this.

Thanks for reading. Hope your week is off to a good start.
